During the rainy season, my hair seems to be everywhere, and yesterday I even found some in my fridge! It’s a mystery how it got there 😉 While I was scrolling through NYKAA, my go-to platform for discounted products, I stumbled upon the Mamaearth Rosemary Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo. I was intrigued by the idea of using rosemary, which is known to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp, nourishing hair follicles with essential nutrients and oxygen. This increased blood flow is said to promote hair growth and minimize hair fall. Not to mention, rosemary’s antioxidants protect hair follicles from damage caused by free radicals, making the hair stronger and less prone to breakage.

Having learned about the beneficial effects of rosemary-based shampoo, I quickly added Mamaearth Rosemary Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo to my cart. It’s the first time I’ve come across a product that boasts the goodness of rosemary and methi dana (fenugreek seeds). What’s more, it was available at a discounted rate! Now, after using it for approximately 20 days, I believe it’s the perfect time to share my opinion about this product 🙂

How to use it:

• Take a coin-sized amount of the Rosemary Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo
• Apply on your scalp and work up a lather.
• Rinse it off thoroughly.

Packaging: This shampoo comes in a white & lavender color bottle with pump mechanism. The pump works well,  also allows easy dispensing of the product. The bottle is made of recyclable materials which is definitely good for our planet. The clip over the pump secure leakage during traveling, better not to throw it so that bottle can be carried safely while travelling 🙂 Products related information is well given on the bottle you can’t say that particular thing is missing. No doubt price is on bit higher side but not that high.

My opinion about the product: This shampoo is white in color with decent consistency, neither thick nor runny in nature. It creates a rich lather and leaves behind an incredibly refreshing fragrance that lingers for a long time. I adore how my hair smells after applying it. However, I find it odd that despite lathering well and even trying to use it multiple times, my hair doesn’t feel as clean as it did with my previous shampoo. This has left me somewhat dissatisfied with its cleansing performance.

I have been experiencing hair fall and hair breakage, and I hoped that a particular product would help address these issues. However, despite the product’s claim of reducing hair fall by up to 94%, I have not seen any noticeable improvements in my case. It’s essential to remember that the effectiveness of a single product can vary from person to person, and what works for one individual may not work the same way for another. Unfortunately, in my situation, the promised results have not been evident.

I believe that relying solely on this single shampoo might not effectively combat hair fall, and it would be beneficial to use a combination of hair oil and conditioner as well. In order to address the hair fall issue comprehensively, purchasing the shampoo, oil, and conditioner together seems necessary. While I have decided not to repurchase the shampoo at the moment, I would consider doing so in the future, along with the oil and conditioner. Despite being slightly pricier than regular shampoos, the fact that it is free from harmful chemicals enhances its value and justifies the higher cost. I will update my opinion accordingly if I buy this combo and to try it again in the future.
