In this post I will be talking about the brand that has recently offered its shares to the public for subscription—Mamaearth. I was intrigued and wanted to subscribe, but unfortunately, I couldn’t secure any shares. If you were successful, congratulations! On a beauty note, I recently tried Mamaearth’s Moisture Matte Longstay Lipstick in the shade Raisin Punch (17). With the ongoing wedding season, this particular shade is a must-have for married women like myself. In this post, I’ll be sharing my review of the Raisin Punch shade, hoping you all find it helpful.
About the product: This lipstick boasts a nourishing blend enriched with avocado oil, delivering both moisturizing and antioxidant benefits for your lips. Infused with Vitamin E, it not only provides essential nourishment but also helps prevent pigmentation. Rest assured, these lipsticks prioritize safety, undergoing dermatological testing, and proudly maintaining a vegan formulation.

How to use it:
- Step 1 : Start from the center of your upper lip and swipe outwards.
- Step 2 : Glide on the lipstick on your bottom lip.
Packaging: The lipstick comes in a white and marron-ish (similar to the lipstick shade) cardboard box that provides detailed information about the product. Unfortunately ingredient list is missing from the packaging and this is the first time I am seeing any mamaearth product without ingredient list 🙁 Obviously it is not a good thing. The lipstick’s name is prominently displayed on the cardboard box, and a sticker on one side allows for easy removal of the product. The packaging exudes quality, and the actual product is housed in a sleek marker-style container. Once again, it maintains a sophisticated appearance with its white color. The shade name is conveniently located on a sticker beneath the tube. This lipstick appears to be a bit bulky due to broad marker style packaging but actually it is very light weight. The retraceable mechanism works well 🙂
My review about the product: Raisin Punch (17) presents a warm maroon hue that complements various Indian skin tones perfectly. While it may not be an everyday shade, it’s an ideal choice for festive occasions, adding a touch of vibrancy. The lipstick effortlessly glides onto the lips, ensuring a smooth application without any discomfort. Enriched with avocado oil, it imparts a moisturizing effect, preventing dryness even in the winter months. For those with extremely dry lips, it’s advisable to apply a lip balm before using the lipstick. Additionally, the product features a subtle fragrance that caters to the preferences of many women. Boasting excellent pigmentation, it delivers comprehensive coverage, leaving the lips beautifully colored.
It’s disheartening that despite the brand’s claim of a 12-hour formula, the lipstick falls short on longevity and tends to smudge, lacking the promised transfer-proof quality. Dealing with smudges and transfers can be quite inconvenient. On a positive note, the tint left on the lips is highly pigmented and persists for an extended period, offering a lasting and attractive appearance.
It’s disappointing to experience poor staying power despite the shade being a “Yes.” Our expectations often hinge on brand claims and the price paid for a product. Considering that many well-known brands offer lipsticks at more reasonable prices, I’m inclined to explore alternatives. While initially considering more shades from this brand, I’m now motivated to discover other options.
