Lotion is a must have product in everyone’s vanity. Women, men & kids, everyone needs a good moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated and nourished. I was using Himalaya body lotion for my girl (she is 3 years old) but was not satisfied with the results. After reading a lot of good reviews about MamaEarth Milky Soft Body Lotion on various parenting groups, I ordered it for my princess. In this post I will be reviewing this product. This is my personal opinion based on the experience or you can say results I saw after using for few days on my baby.

Oats: It has immense nourishing properties. It offers intense moisturization to the skin thanks to its lipid and water content.
Milk Protein: It keeps the skin hydrated and doesn’t allow moisture to evaporate. It also reduces allergic infections like rashes and dark spots on the skin.
Shea Butter: It is an excellent moisturizing agent that also has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It provides relief to itchy and peeling skin.
Calendula: This pretty flower has multiple benefits. It soothes, hydrates, and nourishes the skin deeply.

How to use it:
- Step 1 : Pump out a coin-sized amount of body lotion on your palm.
- Step 2 : Apply all over your baby’s body.
- Step 3 : Massage gently until the lotion gets absorbed.
- Step 4 : Use as often as needed, especially after bathing.
Packaging: This body lotion comes in a sturdy white plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump dispensers are very easy to use and generally dispense the right amount of product. Though this pump dispenser works well but at times it do not work. I am not sure that this is happening with the bottle I have or with others too. I hope it is working properly for others (It is sad to receive product with faulty packaging) . It is a 400 ml bottle so a little heavy to carry in the bag, better to avoid it while travelling.
My opinion about the product: The lotion is white in color and has a very decent fragrance. I do not prefer products with strong fragrance for my daughter & good thing is the fragrance of this lotion is mild. Hydration ability of this lotion is average, which means it moisturizes skin but only for 1 or 2 hours after that skin starts feeling dry. In summers one can manage with this lotion but in winters it will not. You will definitely need a lotion with better hydration power.
The lotion has a very runny consistency which is the worst part of this lotion. On pressing the dispenser the lotion comes out with a high pressure and most of the time instead of my hands it spills on my clothes. Initially I thought I am applying more pressure but even after many attempts I failed. Most of the time I end up spoiling my clothes which is damn irritating. I think with the dispenser packaging lotion should have a bit thick consistency. I got so irritated that I stopped using it for my kiddo.
Overall I am very much disappointed with this product and never going to buy it again. Nothing exciting about this product 🙁
