In this blog post, I will be sharing my experience with the Mamaearth Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Mask. I used this product consistently for three years, but recently, about two months ago, I decided to switch to a different brand. Currently, I am using a variety of hair products from a new brand, and I will soon publish a detailed post about my hair care routine on this blog. However, in this particular post, I want to focus specifically on the Mamaearth Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Mask. If you’ve been following my blogs, you’ll know that when it comes to hair care, I usually stick to just two products: Sunsilk shampoo and Mamaearth Hair Mask. Of course, I do like to experiment with different variants depending on my hair’s needs, but the brand has remained consistent. You will find review of each & every mamaearth hair mask on this blog 🙂
For the past three years, I have been living on the outskirts of my hometown, where the water quality is extremely hard. Unfortunately, over time, this has started to take a toll on my hair. Although I am naturally blessed with long and straight hair, the effects of hard water have made my hair dull and frizzy over the past year. I think I am talking alot about my hair 😉 Now, let’s dive into the main objective of this post; Mamaearth Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Mask Review.

How to use it:
- Part your hair into two sections.
- Apply adequate amount of Hair Mask to wet hair & scalp.
- Leave the Mask on for 10-15 minutes before washing it off with a sulfate-free shampoo.
- For best results, use 2-3 times a week.
Packaging: The packaging is similar to the rest of the hair mask of this brand. It comes in a white colored plastic jar which has a screw cap. This jar is pretty huge and also has a plastic cover which provides spillage of the product. The packaging looks pretty simple & ordinary but completely safe when you have a kid(s) at home. Due to it’s huge size it’s difficult to carry it in the bag so I have stored this in a small jar for travelling purpose.
My opinion about the product: This hair mask is white in color & has a thick yet soft and smooth texture. As per instructions you need to apply a generous amount to towel-dried clean shampooed damp hair. Use your hands and fingers to evenly distribute through hair, beginning at scalp to hair ends and leave for 5 to 15 minutes and then rinse. This hair mask spreads easily on the hair & gets soaked into hair & scalp very fast. So, basically I am using it as a leave-in conditioner. Post application my hair becomes more smooth & manageable.
I used this mask for around 3 years and for 2 years I was very much satisfied with the results it was giving me. My hair felt soft, smooth and shiny after every application. I already had long and silky hair and this hair mask was maintaining it well, I was using it once or maximum twice in a week. But from last 1 year I am noticing degradation in my hair quality, the day I use this hair mask my hair maintains the look. But the day I skip it, my hair feels dead. Say if I have washed my hair on Monday followed my this hair mask my hair will look nice on Monday but on Tuesday they will look messy, frizzy and dull. And I know it is due to the hard water in this area. Leaving your own house as a solution of this problem is not that easy. So I decided to treat my hair aggressively.
If we keep this problem (hard water) aside than this hair mask is just amazing. You can definitely go for it. Good thing is that this hair mask is parabens and sulfates free, has no mineral oil and contains no synthetic fragrances. I will definitely recommend if you want a mask which conditions your hair beautifully
ZZM Rating: ♥♥ 3.5/5 ♥♥
( I am confused I should deduct 1.5 points or not but as for now it is not working for me I am deducting it. You can also consider it 5/5. Sounds crazy!)
