M.A.C Patent Paint Lip Lacquers are new range of liquid lipsticks launched by MAC recently. There are total 17 shades in this range and I wish brand sent me them as PR sample (he he). These lipstick are really heavy for Indian pocket. Still I managed to grab two shades for myself. In this post I am reviewing Lacquered up & Painted Desert from this range. This line ranging from neutrals to vampy shades.

Direction of use: Apply directly to lips as desired.
Packaging: The sleek new packaging features black splatter on the tubes, and the carton has the reverse effect where the splatter is the same color as the shade in the box. The doe-foot applicator picks up the perfect amount of product on both sides and makes application effortless. The shade is visible from the outside, so there in no confusion if you have multiple shades 🙂
Shade:
i. Laquered Up # 587: It is a n*de Pink tone that can be applied everyday. To be precise it is a deep rosy mauve shade.
ii. Painted Desert # 589: It is a cute orange tone. This is a gorgeous shade for summers.
My opinion about the product: If you like editorial glossy lip that looks almost wet, these are lipsticks are perfect option for it. Both the shades are highly pigmented and one swipe is enough to develop opaque coverage. I’m highly impressed with the pigmentation and coverage of these lacquers — they’re vivid, opaque, and true-to-color. They also apply on with ease and don’t require a lip liner since the colors hold up nicely and don’t bleed.
It settles down to a fully glossy finish which stays for good 7 to 8 hours. It is not able to survive heavy meals, need a touch up in the centre of the lips post lunch or dinner. You need not to worry with snacks or beverages (juice, coffee, water etc. Formula is completely matte but doesn’t make your lips dry. However if you still feel that it makes your lips dry then apply a lip balm 10 to 15 minutes before applying the lipstick.
If you want a luxuriously creamy and lightweight lip color that doesn’t dry out your lips, then you will definitely love these lip lacquers because they provide a gorgeous coloration and instant moisturization that’s truly pleasant and ultra comfortable to wear.
