Lotus Herbal’s Berryscrub Strawberry & Aloe Vera Exfoliating Face Wash| Review

When I was getting married like most of the to-be brides, I also prepared a makeup kit for myself. The products which I included in it were mixed lot i.e. few were tried and tested by me and few were new to me. Yes! sometimes we buy products under the influence of friends, influencers, advertisement etc. Lotus Herbals Berryscrub Strawberry & Aloe Vera Exfoliating Face Wash is one of that product which I purchased under influence. In this post I will be reviewing it 🙂

About the product: This specially curated exfoliating facewash flushes out impurities and gives a glowing and clean skin. Our fruit-based exfoliator has strawberry seeds that help in lifting away dead cells to reveal a healthy skin underneath.

How to use it:

STEP 1:
Take a coin-sized amount of “Berryscrub Strawberry& Aloe vera Exfoliating Face Wash” on your finger tips. Gently exfoliate your face and neck using circular motions for few minutes. Wash it off with cool water.

STEP 2:
Now follow-up with a “Rosetone rose petals facial skin toner”. Gently apply this toner using a cotton pad all over face and neck.

STEP 3:
Take a pea-sized amount of “Nutramoist moisturising lotion” to replenish the skin cells. Apply it all over your face and neck using circular motions to moisturize for a final finish.

Packaging: Lotus Herbals Berryscrub comes in a soft press able plastic tube which is partially see-through. The flip-top cap ensures that the product is easy to dispense and prevents any leakage or wastage. All the required details about the product and brand are printed on the top side of the tube body with an attractive shiny finish. The tube is compact and travel-friendly, making it convenient to carry around.

My opinion about the product:

This face wash has a smooth, gel-like texture with tiny strawberry seeds scattered throughout. The texture of the scrub is smooth. It is quite runny in consistency and can easily spill. I find it quite runny. It should have been a little thick as I am not able to scrub the face easily.

The presence of aloe vera makes it quite hydrating. The color of the scrub product is transparent base with brown-orange mixed type of scrubbing particles. The base is like a gel. Upon application, it lathers up well and feels refreshing on the skin.

The fragrance of the scrub is quite weird. The granules aren’t too harsh on skin. I feel that they should have put more granules to make the scrub more effective as it hardly works on scrubbing and removing blackheads and all. The scrub lathers well and my face feels fresh after wash but I can’t consider this as a scrub 🙁

There is nothing to rave about this product. I will not re-order nor recommend you to purchase it.
