Hi Cuties!
After taking a very long much needed break from blogging and even going on holiday I am back more creative than ever and full of ideas for blog posts which is such a relief as I was beginning to worry I was loosing my love and passion for blogging which is one of my worst nightmares but thankfully that is not the case, blogging is a part of me now and something I will never (hopefully) grow out of! For my first post back I have a review of a spectacular face mask I have recently tried!
Price: 712 Rs
After purchasing a disappointing product from L’Oréal Paris which is a story I am saving for another day, I was sent some vouchers to make up for it and after seeing that their new face masks, I decided to use one of my vouchers to purchase one! Initially I wanted to try the glow mask but they were all out of stock so I picked up the purity mask to try out whilst on holiday!
This mask claims to deeply purify and matify. L’Oréal Paris laboratories have selected and combined 3 pure clays and combined them with Eucalyptus extract which is known well for its purifying properties. The mask works deep into the pores leaving the skin purified and matte-looking without drying it out which is perfect for me because I have dry skin so I can look matte without my face being dry. The 3 clays blended together to create this mask are Koalin, Montmorillonite and Ghassoul. Koalin is known to absorb impurities and excess sebum. Montmorillonite is known to help eliminate imperfections and Ghassoul is renowned to help clarify complexion. Combining all 3 clays creates a face mask that works wonders!
I applied the mask using a thick foundation brush as it makes it easier to evenly distribute the product on my face without finger mark streaks or using too much product/not enough. The recommended time to leave the face mask on for is 5-10 minutes but when it is on as it is a clay mask you can feel the mask become more firm and dry than the wet creamy formula it was originally so I left it on for 15 minutes, I recommend leaving it on until it completely goes hard. I removed the mask by washing it off section by section and my skin immediately felt fresh, clean and purified just like the product claims to do! The results are clearly visible and my face felt extremely refreshed! I have only used this twice so far this week and I will continue to use it at least 2-3 times a week as recommended and there are approximately 10 applications so you can get a lot of use out of this. I love the idea of it being a clay mask too as it makes it easier to tell when it is ready to be washed off as it hardens more visibly than any other face mask.
Overall I am a huge fan of this product by L’Oréal Paris and I will definitely be purchasing the other 2 clay masks in the range, the detox mask and the glow mask as they work differently for your skin and I hope they work as well in their own way as the purity mask has for me! I definitely recommend that you try this if you haven’t already it’s all round perfect, packaging and product!
I hope you have enjoyed this post and anyone who was looking for a review on the L’Oréal Purity Clay Mask has gained a much better insight into it. I have really enjoyed creating this post and it feels great to be back blogging again!
