Seems like my journey of finding a perfect face wash is never ending. I have oily skin which is sensitive and pigmented (these days). I don’t expect much from a face wash to work on my blemishes but definitely should suit to my oily & sensitive skin. So currently, I am using Lacto Calamine Face Wash. It is specially meant for oily skin and expectation was damn high. Alas! It came as an disappointment. How to use it:

• Squeeze a coin sized amount of facewash on your palm
• Gently massage onto wet skin for 30-60 seconds
• Rinse off with water

Packaging: This face wash comes in a white colored squeeze tube which has a similar colored flip top cap. In the  beginning you have to be careful as suddenly huge amount of face wash spills out. The tube is light weight & can be easily carried in bag or purse. 

My opinion about the product: This face wash is white in color and has a conditioner like consistency. To be honest more than a face wash it looks like a conditioner. In the beginning you have to be careful as suddenly huge amount of face wash spills out. Controlling the flow of this face wash is bit tricky. You can notice in the picture 🙁 The fragrance of this face wash is unbearable to my sensitive nose. I love products with mild fragrance but this is on a bit higher level. It doesn’t lather much which is a good sign but I am not satisfied with the cleansing effect of this face wash. 

I can’t see that satisfying results post wash. Fragrance too was stopping me to use it but as it contains Kaolin Clay which absorbs oil, and glycerin provides that desired hydration to skin motivated me to use it for 8-10 days. Yes! It helps in absorbing the oil and my skin feels for oil free. Less oily skin means less chances of pimples or acne on your skin. This is definitely a dream of each & every oily skin person on this planet. My skin doesn’t feel dry or itchy post application which is again a positive aspect. This makes it suitable for even dry skin people.

This face wash helps in solving problem of oil on my face but I hate the strong fragrance and cleansing effect too is not that effective in my case.  I haven’t used it for a long time so not eligible on commenting it effectiveness against the pigmentation or blemishes. However I will suggest you to give it a try, if your nose is not that sensitive and you are looking something to work on your oily skin. It is a budget friendly face wash, I got this in ₹ 79. Even if you don’t like it, your pocket not going to hurt a lot. hehe
