As I promised, I am back with the review of Lacto Calamine Skin Balance Daily Nourishing Lotion. I have already reviewed face scrub of this brand so If you are interested in reading review then click Here. Lacto Calamine lotion is something which I am using from my childhood days. As a blogger I need to try many skin care products & some products fire back & I have to face allergic reaction 🙁 In such case this lotion acts as savior for me.
It is an updated version of review which I posted in 2018.

Direction of use: Shake the bottle well before use. Apply the lotion on dots across your face. Then massage for 2 mins.
Packaging: This lotion comes in a plastic bottle which has a purple color screw cap. This packaging has remained the same over the decades. The cap closes tightly which makes it perfect for travelling purpose. All the required details about the product is mentioned on the bottle. The lotion is available in three different sizes – 30 ml, 60 ml and 120 ml. I prefer 30 ml one as it’s very convenient to carry it while travelling 🙂
My opinion about the product: It is among those products which I am using from school days. This lotion is slight pinkish in color and has a decent consistency. Beside it’s decent consistency it it difficult to control product’s flow. You may end up with an extra amount in your hand. It spreads & blends well into the skin without leaving any white cast. It keeps my skin oil free for 4-5 hours & also mattifies my skin immediately post application. Lacto Calamine consist of goodness of Kaolin Clay, Zinc Oxide, Glycerin, Lemon extract, Aloe Vera, Neem & Cinnamon extract 🙂
As I have a sensitive skin so allergic reaction on my face is very common, I apply a thick layer of this lotion in night before going to bed. So that this lotion can get enough time to heal my skin, In morning I get my face almost clear. All the redness, itchiness, breakout etc are gone 🙂 It soothes the skin and also helps to maintain the natural pH balance which is essential for healthy and glowing skin. No need to say it is a must have product for me 🙂
What I like about this product….
Neither dries out skin, nor makes it oily.
Absorbs excess oil from the skin.
Skin remains shine-free, matte for 4-5 hours
Super effective on breaks out.
Can also be used as primer.
Super affordable.
What I do not like about this product….
It it difficult to control product’s flow (which sometimes turn messy.)
