Bonjour beautiful people,
At this point I won’t even say anything or give any excuses and just directly get into the review ASAP. Forgive me, if you can. So. Today. We. Are. Talking. About. Another. Highlighter. And the brand is KYLIE JENNER. Now you see what I meant, by saying sorry? So, let’s just get into it, shall we?
Price: 22$
Quantity: 0.34 OZ/ 9.50g
Shelf life: 12 Months
Shade:
Direction of use: use a fan brush or a finger to apply product on the high points of the face and body.
Packaging: The packaging of the Kylie cosmetics Kylighter, is a cardboard outer packaging which is of the same color and shade as the highlighter, and it has, all the necessary details printed on it. Like ingredients, shelf life, quantity, shade name, etc. But all of those details are hardly visible, in particularly my shade, because they’re printed in white, and the lemon yellow background cancels out all the contrast. The actual packaging of the powder, is of a cardboard packaging as well, and also has the details printed on it, but the same problem. It has a mirror inside the compact as well.
My opinions on the product: Getting a Kylie cosmetics only depends on how badly you want to try the particular brand. When I first used kylie lipsticks, I just ended up liking the product just for the money I spent on it. My colourpop and Jeffrestar Liquid lipstick worked much better for me in terms of quality. So when I got my hands on the Kylie Cosmetics Kylighter, I had prepared myself for the worst. When I received the product, the thing that attracted me the most was that each shade had different packaging color depending on the particular shade. People getting multiple shades would really benefit from that.
Inside the packaging, the famous kylie drip logo is carved on the actual product, which is really aesthetically pleasing. Coming to the quality of the product, the highlighter works fairly well. However it is a very very minimal highlighter. Its only good for very slight glow from within look. The quality, however, is very buttery and not chunky at all. Also it blends seamlessly onto the skin. But if you’re someone, who can’t work without a blinding highlight on your face, like me, then you would need to really build up the intensity for a while, and I don’t think that’s worth it for the price you’re paying. Although the staying power of the highlighter is perfect, and hardly needs any touch ups.
What I like about the product:
- Texture.
- Longevity.
- Buildable.
What I don’t like about the product:
- Expensive.
- Availability.
- Very minimal.
- Not worth the price.
ZZM Rating-2/5
To conclude, I’d like to say that, there are various products at much lesser price, and its not at all worth it for the price.
Until next time, bonjour!
