Joy Keshar Chandan Fairness Face Pack| Review

Joy Keshar Chandan Fairness Face Pack is a product which I used in my college days. This face back worked badly on my sensitive skin. Few days back, I saw this product in a cosmetic shop, it was available in a sample size tube. I decided to purchase it just to share my experience with you guys. After a long time, I am writing a blog post hope you guys will like it 🙂

About the product: Enriched with the goodness of natural ingredients, it penetrates deep into your skin and makes it fairer by preventing photo damage such as discoloration, hyper pigmentation and formation of spots and marks.

Ingredients: Aqua , Kaolin , Glycerin , Fuller’s Earth , Stearic acid , Glyceral Monostearate , CetylAlcohol, Dimethicone , Mineral Oil , Methyl Paraben , Propyl paraben , Titanium Dioxide , Carboxy Methyl Cellulose , Magnesium Aluminium Silicate , Sodium Lauryl Sulphate , Carboner , Fragrance , Saffron Extract , Sandalwood Oil,Turmeric Extract , Niacinamide , CI 19140 , CI15985.

Quantity: 25 ml

Directions for Use: Wash Face. Pat skin dry. Apply the Face Pack evenly on your face daily avoiding eyes and mouth. Let it dry for some time. Wash it off, while rubbing with hands, and discover fairer skin.

Packaging: This face pack comes in a small light brown colored tube which has a dark brown colored screw cap. It front of the tube the main ingredients of the products (i.e Kesar & Chandan) are mentioned along with their pictures. It also has vitamin B3 & turmeric as key ingredients. Overall the packaging is very ordinary but very travel friendly.

My opinion about the product: The face pack is a pale brown coloured cream which is neither too thick nor runny and can be spread directly on face. It has got a strong sandalwood fragrance which might bother sensitive nose people. I hardly used this face pack for about 3 times as it burns very badly on my skin. I won’t say that it stings but it seriously burns. For first time I hardly kept it for a minute and rinsed off thinking that may be my skin has become very dry due to which this burning sensation. After a week it was the same result again & this time I tried to bear for sometime but it never got reduced and kept burning on my face.

I decide to take a final chance with this one and yet the same result. So I was never able to bear this on my skin more than 4-5 minutes and have discontinued using this. I don’t know how this will react for other skin types but I am having a very dry skin and this didn’t suited me. Joy Keshar Chandan face pack is a fairness pack which claims to lighten skin tone and making it flawless & radiant. Unfortunately, the pack didn’t suited my extra dry skin so I can’t comment on the effect in the real sense.
