I recently purchased two products (Sunscreen Fairness Gel & Facial Scrub) from the brand Jovees 😻. I haven’t tried this brand’s product earlier, I bought them on my friend’s recommendation. According to her the products of this brand are good keeping price as major factor. Lets see what I have to say about them.
Jovees Sunscreen Fairness Gel SPF-25

Directions for use: Apply all over face & neck. Leave on.
My opinion about this product: This sunscreen gel comes in a white colored squeeze tube with a flip top cap. It shuts properly so you can carry it in your bag without any worry. In summers I prefer Aloe vera based products due to their soothing effect. This sunscreen gel in yellowish in color and somewhat looks like Patanjali’s Keasar Chandan Aloe Vera Gel. This sunscreen gel has an artificial fragrance which I don’t like at all. On application it gives a cooling effect on skin and keeps your skin protected for 2 hours. More than that it fails in protecting your skin from harmful skin rays and you may face skin tan.
Brand claims that it is loaded with the goodness of Aloe vera, Chamomile and Liqorice but my concern is why complete ingredient list is not provided by the brand 😵. This sunscreen gel also claims to provide fairness but I haven’t noticed any visible effect.
Jovees Apricot and Almond Facial Scrub
Products claims: As per brand it is a luxurious exfoliating scrub for fresh radiant skin. A cream based scrub with softening, cleansing and soothing properties that helps to rejuvenate the skin cells and makes skin look fresh and clear. Its active ingredients include apricot Oil, almond Oil, walnut with high quality granules. It is rich in vitamin- A that helps to remove dead epithelial cells and black heads.

Wt: 220 gm
Shelf life: 2 years
Directions for use: Moisten face. Apply all over the face & neck. Massage using finger tips for 2 to 3 minutes. Follow with Jovees water lily lotion. Avoid contact with eyes.
My opinion about this product: This scrub comes in a squeeze tube with a flip top cap. Like sunscreen gel, the packaging of this scrub is also pretty simple. I have bigger version of the packaging which makes it difficult to let it in. However one can go with smaller variant of this product. It is a cream based scrub which has very mild scrub particles. The particles are not at all harsh on skin which makes it suitable for daily use. It exfoliates well & leaves behind soft, smooth & healthy skin. It doesn’t dry out skin
Overall I found both the products decent keeping price as important factor. There is nothing extraordinary about them but they do justice to their work.
