Your baby has turned 6 months old & you are planning to introduce solid to him/her. But not able to decide what to give first then believe me Banana puree can be a good option 🙂 It is very easy to make & safe too. So in this post I am sharing how to make Banana Puree.
What you will need:
1. Banana
2. Vinegar
3. Water
4. Breast milk or Formula milk
Step by step process:
Take a banana which is blemish free and yellow in color. Do not go for those which are slightly brown in color. Also do not choose a banana with spots on it, as it means that it has crossed its prime time.
Wash the banana with a mixture of three parts water and one-part white vinegar to remove bacteria. Then rinse under running water. I know most of us avoid this step but it is really important.
Now peel the banana & cut into small pieces.
Puree in a food processor or blender until smooth. You can also add breast milk or formula milk to get the puree of desired consistency.
Transfer it is a bowl & feed your baby is small quantity with feeding spoon.
- This puree is very easy to make so don’t store it in refrigerator. Serve only fresh banana puree to your baby 🙂
