Hotel Hemkunth Garkhal, Kasauli Review

Hola Amigos!!!As our trip was unplanned, so we thought and jut took our car and went off for Kasauli. As this trip was unplanned so we never had any hotel reservation done from before. We thought that as Kasauli is a small hill station unlike Shimla, Nanital or Mussoorie, we will get hotel’s confirmation for rooms easily. Trust me that was the weirdest idea we had as we were totally wrong. We went and asked every hotel, only answer we got was “Sorry, we are full” and the one’s we had, they were disgusting (he he he.. Seriously I was very angry at that time because they were charging for nothing).

In our hotel for hotel, we came across “Hotel Hemkunth”. On the first look, I never liked it but when I saw the rooms, I was stunned. The rooms were so beautiful that even if the rooms in other hotel were available, I would have stayed here only. The rooms were big, beautifully decorated and clean.
The best feature about the hotel was the valley facing balcony. The beautiful valley could be witnessed from the balcony. The beautiful effect when clouds covered and uncovered the “Man-ki also famous as monkey point” (Can you imagine my happiness at that time. He he he). The hotel had ample parking space.
The food was also nice and had homely taste which you can enjoy on the terrace as well as in your room too. The negative point being that the service was actually slow when you want to enjoy it on the terrace or restaurant but if you order food in your room, then that is pretty fast. Room service and staff both were remarkable and never gave anything to complaint about.
If we talk about tariff and food charges then I must say they were reasonable. So if you plan a trip to Kasauli, then do take “Hotel Hemkunth” as an option but do book your room in prior otherwise you will have to run your car here and there he he he. Kasauli is always busy on weekends as it gets a lot of tourist from nearby areas predominant being Chandigarh.

One thing I would like to mention, the tariff mentioned in their website is nothing to do with the one they were asking for, to be honest this is not fair. I already had idea about their tariff but didn’t said anything as I liked this place as well as this thing was applicable in case of each & every hotel of Kasauli.
