This is my first post from the new city where I have shifted recently. New city, new house, new people around but still I am very happy. It took almost a month to settle down, finally house is all set & so am I 😉 In this post I will be reviewing Himalaya Soothing Hydra-Nutri Balance Body Lotion. I picked it from a local store. In Gurgaon one can find supermarket very easily but here in Agra there is not a single supermarket near my place 🙁 Life here is a bit slow but at the same time very peaceful (Ah! I am missing Gurgaon). Let’s focus on the review else I will keep talking about Gurgaon & Agra. Lol!
About the product: Himalaya’s Soothing Body Lotion is a silky, lightweight and non-greasy body lotion that combines all the goodness of naturally derived ingredients to soothe and moisturize your skin, making it look noticeably softer and smoother.
Ingredients:
Price: 140 Rs for 200 ml
Direction of use: Massage into damp body skin until absorbed completely.
Packaging: This lotion comes in a plastic bottle with a green colored flip top lid. The lid is of good quality but there is an issue with it, sometimes it closes with difficulty. Product related information such as ingredients, claims, manufacturing date, shelf life etc. are printed on the label of the bottle is printed at the back of the bottle. For a change I found this packaging a bit attractive (Usually Himalaya products comes in simple packaging).
My opinion about the product: The lotion is white in color and has a very creamy consistency. The texture is very convenient to spread over the skin, not greasy at all and it gets absorbed fast. It easily gets absorbed in skin without much effort. I mean only one swipe and your skin will be nourished ( In winters my skin becomes very dry), you need not to put efforts in massaging of lotion .Its hydrating effect of this lotion is just awesome, it keeps my sensitive skin moisturized for 8 to 9 hours. So I apply it twice in day, post bath & before going to bed. I have really dry skin these days still this lotion keeps it moisturized which means this lotion is really too good 
It has powdery-floral type fragrance. The fragrance is not very loud so it is certainly not going to cause a headache. Although the smell becomes faint after a few minutes of application, the staying power of this fragrance is 30-45 minutes maximum. So if you have sensitive nose then it will not bother you much (of course you will feel it initially).
I am literally very happy with this lotion as price is super affordable, packaging is good & this lotion is amazing for dry skin. This is a new launch of Himalaya in body lotion category which you should definitely try. It is going to be a decent body moisturizer for normal to dry to oily skin in the warmer months as well as for the colder months of the year.

What I do not like about this product…..
1. Cap doesn’t shut properly.
