Having oily skin during summers can be quite challenging, especially with the unwelcome presence of pimples. These little monsters are despised by most teenagers, and one home remedy that’s often mentioned is using lemon juice to deal with them. While it can be effective, applying lemon juice directly on the skin can be painful and cause a burning sensation. I, too, have heard about this remedy, but I prefer a milder approach using lemon-based products, and one of my favorites is the Himalaya Oil Control Lemon Face Wash. In this post, I’ll be sharing my review of this product.

How to use it: Moisten face, apply a small quantity of Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash and gently work up a lather using a circular motion. Wash off and pat dry. Use twice daily.
Packaging: This face wash comes in a transparent, plastic bottle with pump mechanism. The pump works well and dispenses right quantity of the product. This product also comes in a see through squeeze tube with green flip open cap. 100 ml product comes in the squeeze tube and the 200 ml comes in the bottle. Both the packaging are sturdy and travel friendly.
My opinion about the product: The Himalaya Herbals Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash has a pleasant gel-like consistency and a delicious zesty aroma that immediately energises the senses. Its clear formulation contains mild blue microbeads, resulting in a skin-friendly exfoliating experience. I apply a tiny bit of the face wash to my palms and gently massage it onto my damp face and neck. The face wash lathers lavishly, effectively reaching deep into my skin to properly cleanse application.
This face cleanser effortlessly eliminates debris, dust, and excess oil, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and revitalized. Rinsing it off is a breeze, requiring only 2-3 splashes of water, and it doesn’t leave any unpleasant residue behind. My face feels remarkably clean and clear following its use. Moreover, this cleanser boasts exceptional oil-control capabilities, keeping my skin oil-free for an impressive 3-4 hours after application.
This face wash is a perfect match for my sensitive skin, as the micro-beads provide a gentle exfoliation without causing any irritation. It’s an ideal exfoliating face wash that I can comfortably use on a daily basis. After using it twice a day since my purchase, I’ve noticed a subtle yet lovely glow on my face. Additionally, it effectively reduces excess oil without leaving my skin feeling dry or tight.
While it works well in removing light makeup, I’ve found that it’s not as effective with waterproof makeup. Nevertheless, for combination to oily skin types like mine, it’s a decent face wash that does the job wonderfully. I’m already considering purchasing it again in the future.
