Hope you all are doing well. In this post, I am going to share my thoughts on Head & Shoulders Smooth and Silky Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. My husband is a regular user of shampoo by this brand, so I also thought to give it a try. The one I am reviewing is specially designed for dandruff.

Product claims: Powered with HydraZinc technology to keep you up to 100% dandruff free forever (visible flakes with regular use)

* Formulated with moisturizers, it helps soften and restore dry, frizzy hair to a silky, smooth look.
* Frizz control starts at the scalp to smooth each strand.
* Keeps your scalp healthy and gives you beautiful smooth, silky hair
* Gentle enough for everyday use, even for color or chemically treated hair

Wt: 340 gm

Shelf life: 36 months or 3 years

Directions for use: Wet your hair. Gently massage onto scalp. Lather and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if desired.

Packaging: The shampoo comes in a cute white bottle with a blue colored flip top cap. The fonts used are with a hint of blue and pink colors. Overall the packaging is simple but cute.

My opinion about the product: The product is milky white in color and has a very runny consistency. It has a beautiful flowery fragrance which lasts or 2 or 3 days post wash. It lathers really well. I’ve been reading a lot about how sodium laureth sulfate damages hair, but honestly the thought of using a shampoo that doesn’t foam is strange. I personally prefer shampoo which lathers well but can’t deny from it’s long term side effects too.

After regular use I have noticed a visible difference in my hair. It has become more manageable, softer, and less frizzy. I usually do not face dandruff problem so can’t say about it’s efficiency against dandruff. But according to my husband it works really well in his case. I have any oily scalp which becomes too oily, sticky & dirty in 2nd day of shampooing. The use of this shampoo gives me a clear & healthy scalp.

I usually shampoo my hair followed by conditioning. But on skipping the conditioner I noticed that it drains out natural moisture of my hair making them dry & frizzy. So using a conditioner is must along with this shampoo. Overall it is an average product which is suitable for people with dandruff but apart from it do not expect any magical effects.

What I like about this product….

1. Effective against dandruff control.
2. Lathers really well.
3. Makes scalp squeaky clean.
4. Easily available.
5. Budget friendly.

What I do not like about this product….

1. Horrible ingredient list.
2. Makes hair dry & frizzy on skipping conditioner.
3. Average product nothing to rave about
