Hello Beauties!!!

Few days back I saw Garnier PureActive Neem Purifying Face Wash in my mum’s dressing table. My instant reaction was “Maa I also have same face wash”. But soon I realized that the one I have is, Garnier PureActive Real Neem Face Wash. So the point is why two different face washes with same kind of packaging, properties, claims & names are available in the market. I have already reviewed Garnier PureActive Real Neem Face Wash and in this post I am going to review Garnier PureActive Neem Purifying Face Wash.

Shelf life: 36 months or 3 years

Directions for use: Gently massage on damp face with finger tips carefully avoiding eye contour area. Rinse thoroughly. For best results use twice a day. Not to be used by children under 3 years of age. 

Face wash for pimples

Packaging: This face wash comes in a white color squeeze tube which has a light green colored flip top cap. It is easy to dispense product but because of opaque packaging it is difficult to find quantity of product left.The cap shuts tightly and don’t allow the product to spill during travels. Overall packaging is hygienic and travel friendly.

My opinion about this product: The face wash is lemony green in color and has a very thin & runny consistency. So it easily spreads and easily washes away too. It has an herbal fragrance (smells like neem leaves with tinge of tree oil) which is not at all overpowering or irritating.

This face wash lathers well & is very effective in cleansing job. After application it cleans my skin off dirt, grime and dullness, it instantly lends freshness to my face and makes it appear clean. But it also makes my skin bit dry & stretchy so I need to apply moisturizer for providing moisture to my skin. 

Direction of use

After regular application of one week, I noticed slight reduction in pimples on my face but it is not at all effective in fading pimples marks. Overall it is a decent face wash whose regular use will help in reducing existing acne and appearance of new ones.

Now the point is why company has introduced two products with similar kind of appearance & properties. Because in my opinion for both the products is same.

Pimples for oily skin

What I like about this product….

1. Removes impurities and fights germs to prevent pimples.
2. Nice herbal fragrance.
3. Travel friendly packaging.
4. Easily available in local as well as online markets.
5. Helps in controlling oil.
6. Budget friendly
7. Contains the goodness of Tea Tree leaves oil and Neem leaves extract.

What I do not like about this product….

1. Doesn’t help in reducing the pimple marks or spots.
2. Makes my skin dry & stretchy.
