In this post I am reviewing Ethicare Remedies Caladew Soothing and Calamine Lotion. The lotion reached me when the heat wave was on and I desperately needed something to sooth my skin down.
Product claims: Caladew lotion, with its balanced formulation, offers soothing-cooling action and gives relief in skin condition like prickly heat, insect bites, itching, sunburn, nappy rash etc. Use 2 to 3 times daily for best results. Zinc oxide is used to heal the skin and offers mild sunscreen action. Caladew has Excellent spread ability. It offers instant cooling effect.
Ingredients: Kaolin, Zinc oxide, Cucumber extract, Aloevera, Silicon oil, Glycerine.
Wt: 75 ml
Shelf life: 36 months or 3 years
Directions for use:
1. Take a small amount of lotion in the palm of your hand.
2. Massage gently on your skin for the soothing effect.
Packaging: The packaging is simple; a pink tube with a white colored screw cap that looks pretty amazing. Overall packaging is pretty girlish & travel friendly.
The other noticeable thing about the lotion is that it contains Zinc Oxide which in turn helps in you in preventing pimples and other skin problems. Just a small amount of lotion is enough to cover your face with specially helping me as it doesn’t turn my skin oily skin more oily. It only makes the skin shiny and oil free.
Overall you will see a considerable dramatic change in your skin texture with soothing effect in sun. Moreover it also gives a matte finish skin.
What I like about this product….
1. Efficiently heals itchiness.
2. Mild fragrance.
3. Provides the matte effect
4. Provides a cool and calm effect to the skin.
5. Provides some amount of coverage.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Thin consistency.

I am currently using Lacto calamine lotion. Have you used the same, as per your which one is better.
Lacto Calamine has a thick consistency & drying effect so for me Caladew Soothing And Calamine Lotion Review is better option 🙂

This sounds really good, soothing and lightweight as well…though I wonder why there is silicon oil in ingredients..
These days most of the products are fully loaded with chemical..
I have only ever used Lacto Calamine as it suits my skin amazingly well. This is one great review though, maybe will try this out some day too 🙂
