I hope you all are safe, quarantine days seems too long. Before buying mama earth body lotion, I purchased Elle 18 body lotion. But the lotion is so runny in nature that I ended up buying another lotion before emptying the bottle. So in this post I am sharing my review about Elle 18 body lotion.
Ingredients:
Price: 65 Rs
Qt: 100 ml
Directions for use: Apply lotion gently all over the body, with special attention to severely dry areas, slowly massaging in it. Best used after bathing when your skin is the most receptive to hydration.
Packaging: This lotion comes in an opaque, pink bottle with a same colored flip top cap. One has to be careful with the cap because chances of breakage are there. Packaging is pretty hygienic and travel friendly. You find the picture of same girl on the bottle which we see on Elle 18 matte lipstick bullets. So the packaging is decent one.
My opinion about the product: The lotion is white in color. Beware! You may get addicted to this lotion because it’s smell. Lol.. It smells precisely like jasmine flowers. I know! Those with sensitive nose may not like this fragrance. As I mentioned earlier the consistency of this lotion is thin. So you have to be very careful while pouring it, I always end up with extra amount on my hand which I seriously hate. If your bottle’s cap is loose then avoid carrying it in your bag else you will end up with mess in your bag/purse.
It spreads easily upon application and is instantly absorbed in the skin. It does not give any greasiness or any other oiliness to the skin. If you have oily or combination skin then this lotion will moisturize your skin really well. No doubt it is the most light weight lotion which I have used till date. I feels like water and your skin will not feel it post application. Overall lotion is decent (keeping price in mind) and can be used in summers (when you don’t need extra moisture) but definitely not for winters.
What I like about this product..
1. Smells awesome.
2. Nourishes repairs and makes skin smooth and soft.
3. Doesn’t leave any greasiness or oiliness.
5. Travel friendly packaging.
6. Budget friendly.
What I do not like about this product….
1. Not effective on extra- dry skin.
2. Extremely runny which leads to wastage of product.
3. Contains Parabens.
