Eyes Lips Face or better known as e.l.f just came out with their version of a cream shadow base that can be used as an eyeshadow or eyeliner. They have nine colours in total and unfortunately, e.l.f. is only sold in US stores, but you can buy them online. Which is what I did! They retail for $2 on the e.l.f. website, which is super cheap. I grabbed mine for only a $1 because I got in on a great 50% off sale. I snagged all nine to review for you all.
I wish I could tell you all that these are dupe for Maybelline’s Color Tattoos, but they aren’t. The website says that you can use them as eye shadow or eyeliner, but I like to use them as a cream base. Powder shadows can be applied on top of them easily enough and the colour will stay all day.
I experimented applying them with my fingers, a fluffy eye shadow brush and a cream shadow brush. I found that the fluffy eye shadow brush was best to blend them out. Once the product is on your eyelid, you have to work fast to blend them out before they set….which boy, do they set. They do not move, so if your looking for some long-lasting cream shadows…these are the ones for you.
I also want to point out that the darker colours – Poppin’ Praty, Ocean Bound and Hit the Town loose their gusto a bit once blended out. Which is kind of a bummer as they swatched beautifully.
The packaging is plastic, but durable. You just have to be careful to twist the caps on them to ensure the product does not dry out.

Poppin’ Praty : Metallic deep purple with strong pigmentation that is difficult to build up. The colour loses the metallic finish once blended.
Ocean Bound: Metallic deep blue with strong pigmentation that is difficult to build up. The colour loses the metallic finish once blended.
Hit the Town: Metallic blue-toned grey with strong pigmentation that is difficult to build up. The colour loses the metallic finish once blended.
