Dot & Key 72 HR Hydrating Gel Moisturizer| Review

I am a person who never buys products in bulk, no doubt it is hard to resist those sale going around (online & offline both). For the first time I ordered products just to avail the sale offer, haan Dot & Key made me invest my ₹ 1000  without thinking twice. I saw a post where brand was offering 3 full size product in ₹ 999 and 1 free gift just by paying ₹1. So, I got 3 full size product and 1 sample size product. The sample size product, I got is Dot & Key 72 HR Hydrating Gel Moisturizer. It is a 15 ml jar, which is perfect for travelling purpose. However it is also available in 60 ml jar too. In this post I am talking about Dot & Key 72 HR Hydrating Gel Moisturizer.

How to use it:

Packaging: This gel moisturizer comes in a glass jar with a plastic cap and an inner lid to prevent leakage. This white cap reminds me of caps mostly used on beach. LOL.. This sample size jar is travel friendly but if you have 60 ml jar then you will find it difficult to carry while travelling. The day, night and this gel moisturizer has similar packaging 🙂 The full size product also comes with a spatula but this sample size does not, you have to dip in your fingers in the jar or buy your spatula 😉 I have a tiny spatula which I received with some other product. Wash & re-use!

My opinion about the product: In regular routine, I am using serum, day and night cream of this brand (I will soon share the review) and this gel moisturizer I am using for travelling purpose. As I only carry this and a lip balm while travelling, after becoming mom its all about your kid 😉 This sample size jar easily slips in my sling bag. This gel has a gel texture that is a little dense and has a faint hint of sky blue colour. The product and the jar has same color, however it was hard to capture the actual color of the jar in camera. This gel moisturizer easily sinks in your skin and gives cooling effect and hydration. I don’t feel any stickiness or oiliness post application.

It has a very mild fragrance which fades away in no time. The purpose of keeping this for travelling purpose is; its claim of 72 Hr hydration. Its hydration power is unbelievable, I can’t comment on 72 Hr claim as never kept my face un washed for this long duration. No matter how long distance we are covering/travelling, I make sure to wash my face before going to bed. It keeps my skin hydrated, glowing, plump and luminous through out the day 🙂 Even in morning my skin feels soft and nourished. It also has probiotics which can help in preventing acnes pimples but I don’t have any so can’t say with 100% surety. Overall amazing product and once this jar is over I will either buy this or full size in case sample size jar is not available in the market 😉
