Hello Mommies!!!
Hope you all are doing well. I am a stay at home mama with a toddler (20 months old). When I gave birth to my boy in April 2016, I initially thought that I will resume to work once he will turn 6 months old. But later on, I dropped this idea and decided to stay at home to take care of my baby. It doesn’t mean that I don’t work, I am a blogger, work for few brands and have my own subscription box.
My social life these days is like of zero, no friends, no outing, no movies, no party etc. As I am a stay at home mama so whenever I meet my relatives or friends after a long time the most obvious question is “कहाँ बिजी रहती हो सारा दिन”. To be honest I hate this question, I personally feel that if you are a stay at home mama then maximum people think you don’t have much to do 😞. So today I thought to share my routine (which is more or less routine of an every stay at home mom) so that every person on this planet Earth can have an idea about the routine of a mom.
My happening daily routine:
8 AM: Wakeup and then I instantly change Aarav’s diaper.
8.10 AM: Finish up things which you need to do early morning ;).
8: 20 AM: Make Tea & breakfast for hubby. He leaves for the hospital around 8: 55 AM.
9:10 AM: Wake my baby, snuggle with him & feed him milk (which almost takes 30 minutes of my life ;).
10 AM: Make breakfast for Aarav & myself. Then make him eat, which again takes 20-30 minutes of my life depending on his mood, in-between I too have my breakfast.
10: 30 AM: Take him to the balcony where we both play.
11 AM: It’s massage time for him then after that I leave him for free play. Which he usually do my throwing cushions, sofa covers etc. Meanwhile, I do dusting, warm water for his bath, decide his clothes & try to keep the stuff he throws back to place.
11: 30 AM: Give him a bath then dress him. Now again I spend 20 – 30 minutes of my life in this as he runs like crazy for not wearing clothes. I sometimes wonder why he can’t wear his cloth without running.😕
12 PM: I give a feed of milk and try to complete my work (It can be of blog, brands or my subscription box)
1 PM: Make Lunch.
1:30 PM: Make him eat his lunch which he usually does while running throughout the house.
2 PM: It’s my lunchtime. Now the tragedy of my life is Aarav keeps on jumping me while I am having lunch & most of the time I end up with the mess on my clothes or on the floor.
2:10 PM: Clean up the mess.
2:30 PM: I call my mother (I call her daily.)
3:00 PM: I again start my work (official) and also keep my eyes on my baby.
4 PM: Playtime with him.
4:30 PM: I make him sleep (This is the time when I do self-entertainment by singing songs for him). We have tried several times that he sleeps around 2 or 3 but he never did. This is his fixed time for sleeping and he sleeps for 1 or 1:30 hrs.
4:45 PM: I resume to my official work.
6:30 PM: Prepare snacks.
7: 30 PM: Chores, cooking dinner.
9:30 PM: Eat dinner & cleanup. It almost takes 1 hour to do all the things.
10 PM: Getting baby ready for bed i.e cleaning him, changing his diaper, dressing him etc. Again it takes around 20 minutes. Most of the time my hubby does it. So in that time, I prepare his milk, close all the doors & all.
10: 30 to 1 PM: We wait when this little monster will sleep & have some conversation about work, baby, family blah blah. We also, watch one or two serials (This the best time in whole day 😉 )
1 PM: Apparently it should be a husband time but believe me I don’t want it these days. All I want is “एक प्यारी से निन्नी (sleep)” 😂.
अब आज के बाद किसी ने कहाँ ना “पूरे दिन करते ही क्या हो” तोह देख लेना मुझसे बुरा कोई नहीं होगा.. Ha ha 😂 Jokes apart, hats off to all moms out there, no whether matter you are a working mom or stay at home mom. “Because I feel that, in the Heavens above / The angels, whispering to one another, / Can find, among their burning terms of love / None so devotional as that of ‘Mother’” – Edgar Allen Poe
* I wrote this post couple of months back but didn’t published due to busy routine. From a week my baby going to school & I will definitely share my new routine with you guys 🙂
