Bonjour, beautiful people. When you stay in India, specifically in my city, Kolkata, everybody knows what a pain is it to tackle humidity. And if you’re a crazy makeup lover like me, how hard it is to not have your makeup melt down in a unified puddle all over your face, by the end of the day. So along with having a terrific makeup routine, a good makeup setting spray to seal the deal has so much importance. So today I’ll be talking about one such setting spray, and how did it work for me, and that is the Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray.

Direction of use: Shake very well before use. After makeup application, hold bottle 8”-10”(20-25 cm) away from face and mist evenly onto skin. Close eyes and mouth while applying.
Packaging: The spray comes inside a cardboard packaging, which has all the necessary details written on it, including, direction of use, ingredients, shelf life, and details about the product. The spray itself comes in plastic bottle and a plastic cap. It is sturdy enough, and also has all the details written on it. It can be safely used while travelling as well. The thing that I like the most about the packaging is that both the cardboard and the bottle both have holographic reflect on them, which makes it look very chic.
My opinion about the product: Being said, how much importance a setting spray holds, a girl/boy must always possess a good setting spray. When sephora first launched its flagship store in Kolkata, I was terribly elated. I made sure to visit the place right on the launch day, and this was what I purchased that day. It is an illuminating spray, which means its gonna give you an extra shine to the already glowing makeup. It is the perfect setting spray, if you’re looking for the glow from within, dewy look. The spray actually very very tiny and minute shimmer particles, that is why it is very important to shake the bottle well, to emulsify the shimmer particles before application.
I personally prefer a more matte look, but when it comes to a soft daytime look, it works pretty well for me. When I used it, it kept my face intact for 2-3 hours after which I started getting oiling up in my t-zone and upperlip area, but after touch up, it was fine.
If you’ve never used Cover FX products, and want to, then you can sure try this. But I think, for the price, you can get better setting sprays in the Indian market.
