Direction of use
Step One – Start with bare, dry lips! Prime your lips with our Lippie Primer for smoother application and more comfortable wear!
Step Two – Line your lips with a matching Lippie Pencil; this will help you achieve the perfect finished look and give the appearance of fuller lips.
Step Three – Apply your Ultra Matte Lip in a thin layer for best wear.
Packaging: Comes in a see through sleek packaging which makes it easier to spot the colour you are looking to wear. Apart from their limited edition collection, all the Ultra Mattes have the same packaging. The doe foot applicator is not the most convenient to use like the Lakme 9 to 5 Matte Mousse one, but it still does a decent job of picking up enough product for one layer or application.
My opinion about the product: I got the shade that is BAD HABIT. The shade resemble to the pinkish kind of shade that absolutely good. The ultra matte truly is an ultra matte it’s very shiny when you initially apply it but then it turns matte like magic. But of course, the real matte lipstick test comes when you’re eating. This lipstick passed with flying colours! I have put this lipstick through macaroni & cheese, chicken fingers, bagels, sandwiches, and multiple drinks from Starbucks and my lips still look great. Yep, it’s pretty darn matte.
I love that despite this, the product does not leave my lips feeling parched. This is super important for me because the one thing I hate more than buying similar products is buying a liquid lipstick that dries out my lips majorly. My one caveat is just that plain water and a rag will NOT remove these lipsticks. I end up using makeup wipes to remove it, which works well. If you have found another way to remove the colour from your lips, definitely share your method in the comments! They end to wear anywhere from six to ten hours with darker shades maintaining better colour coverage and wear over a longer period of time.
What I liked about the product…
- Good Packaging.
- Love the formula.
- Super matte.
- The finish is awesome.
- Affordable.
What I don’t liked about the product…
- Nothing seriously.
