I always have issue with makeup removers as they often irritate my eyes. I have sensitive skin, so I go with gentle makeup removers but unfortunately they don’t remove my makeup effectively (I tried many brands). I was going through a video, in which the youtuber was using the cleansing balm. That removed whole makeup like dream. That cleansing balm was from brand Clinique. I instantly ordered it from Nykaa.

Packaging: This balm comes in a broad, flat bottom jar, which has a silver colored screw cap. The packaging of Clinique products never disappoint. This one too is pretty, sturdy & travel friendly 🙂
My opinion about the product: It has a balm-like consistency very similar to the way coconut oil feels in winters. The balm melts to an oil that slips nicely across the skin so that you can really massage it. The usage is pretty simple, take out the balm then massage on your face gently. It is fragrance free which is an added bonus, as balm with fragrance can irritate people with sensitive eyes. This balm doesn’t comes with a spoon or scoop so, you can use your own (applicator) or even fingers (I know few may find it unhygienic) for taking out the product. Due to the hard texture it is more difficult to scoop out excessive amount, which is good.
I have sensitive eyes which get irritated, on applying the liquid makeup remover but this balm is damn mild. There is no stingy or burning sensation. This balm cleanses well & there is absolutely no residue left behind and it’s not greasy at all. It removes each & every trace of makeup with much efforts. If you have an oily skin & worried that this will suit you or not then don’t worry & use it without any tension. This product did not breakout my skin or cause clogged pores. I am happily using it as cleanser in my Night skin care routine.
The product seems very expensive but liked the review.
