Last year I moved to Pune in July and was welcomed by it’s unpredictable rains. The weather of Pune and my hometown are very different and no matter how much I love the pleasant atmosphere, this change had drastic effects on me. Worst of all was my dandruff and frizzy hair. It became more untamable. Since last year I am using paraben and silicone free products and since my current shampoo was not working for me, I decided to try out something new. The most effective, Herbal and Pocket friendly brand I ever used was Biotique, so I thought why not give it a try, and I got myself a bottle of Biotique Bio Neem Margosa Anti-dandruff Shampoo. Let’s see how well did this work for me.
Ingredients:
Price: 190 ml
Qt: ₹ 159/-
Packaging: It has the typical Biotique bottle packaging, which is quite sturdy and travel friendly too. It is available in 5 different sizes.
Use: It is to be used as a normal shampoo in wet hair. I like using it after diluting it with a water. This helps in spreading it evenly all over my hair, also just a small quantity is enough because of its thick consistency.
My opinion about the product: The shampoo is light green in colour. It has a thick consistency and a mild fragrance which does stay in the hair after washing it. It says it’s both shampoo and conditioner so I gave it a shot and did not to use any conditioner after the shampoo. To my surprise not using a conditioner worked just fine for me.. Using this makes my hair more manageable and my hair fall also has reduced to some extent. My boyfriend also has used it and he too said it reduced his hair fall.
Though it did not clear my dandruff problem, but it definitely conditions my hair.
What I like about this product….
- Conditions the hair.
- Sulphate, Paraben and Silicone free.
- Gives volume (to my hair).
- Cleans hair thoroughly.
- Clears dandruff too, but it comes back again.
What I do not like about this product….
- None, except for the fact that it did not clear my dandruff totally.
Overall I will give it 7 out of 10.
Will I buy it again?
It’s a permanent thing for me now and I am currently using it and will get a new bottle as soon as it’s over.
