For me pregnancy was all about glowing skin, healthy hair & amazing experience. But when my boy came in this outer world all pregnancy glow vanished. My skin become dull & pigmented. I searched & bought many products for the same & unfortunately nothing seems working for me. I also bought Biotique Bio Coconut Whitening and Brightening Cream. In this post I will be reviewing it 🙂
Product’s claim: This luxurious cream is blended with extracts of pure virgin coconut, dandelion and manjishtha to fade away dark spots and blemishes. With regular use, skin is noticeably fairer, smoother and brighter.

Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacturing.
Direction of use: Apply to cleansed face and neck Gently massage into skin, concentrating on the areas to be lightened, morning and evening.
Packaging: This cream comes in a light & dark green colored cardboard box. The product’s related information is printed of it. The actual product comes in a white tub with a green screw lid. As the gel is a bit runny, if not closed tightly, it might leak. Most of the Biotique products (cream, face pack, gel etc.) comes in similar kind of packaging.
My opinion about the product: This white color cream has a thick consistency but it easily spread on the skin. It has coconut oil so I was expecting it have similar smell (which coconut oil has) but it doesn’t. The fragrance is very mild and it fades away soon. On application this cream melts like anything & leaves oily effect on your face. This can be adjusted in winters but you gonna look like oily fry pan in summers.
As winters are here so I am using it when I am not stepping outside. It does hydrate my skin & makes it look nourished & moisturized.
As the main objective of buying this cream was to have some visible effect on my dull & pigmented skin. I read somewhere that on long term use this cream gives visible effects. I am using it from last one month & not getting any expected result. Which was real disappointment. Summers will be here so I will be not using it as I already have a super oily skin. Overall I am disappointed with this cream as there is no reason for investing my money in it.
What I like about this product….
- Budget friendly.
- Moisturizes well.
- Does not clog my pores.
- Has a mild fragrance.
- Gets absorbed easily.
What I do not like about this product…..
- Makes skin oily.
- Tub packaging can be bit hygienic.
- No effect on skin brightening.
