Hello Reader!
This year, as I turned 40, I had a bit of an awakening. For years, I ignored my own needs, especially when it came to my skin. One day, I looked in the mirror and couldn’t ignore it anymore—my skin was dull, lifeless, and burdened with pigmentation. That moment was a wake-up call, and I decided it was time to start caring for myself.
You might laugh, but until then, I hadn’t spent a single penny on serums, moisturizers, or any fancy skincare products. But now, I’m determined to invest in myself and my skin. Over the past few months, I’ve tried several products, and I’ve decided to share my experiences through honest reviews.
Let’s kick things off with my thoughts on the Ayuga Kashmiri Saffron Face Oil!
About the product: Infused with the power of potent natural ingredients, Kashmiri Saffron Face Oil is designed to brighten and revitalize the skin. It features A++ Mongra Grade Saffron, meticulously handpicked from the Pampore region of Kashmir, where it thrives in its most potent form. This face oil boasts a rich yet lightweight texture that absorbs quickly, leaving the skin feeling luxuriously smooth and helping to achieve a more even complexion. Jasmine complements the formula by acting as a natural moisturizer, balancing oil production and calming the skin.
The Kashmiri Saffron used in this face oil is exceptionally potent, containing 8.72% Crocin—a powerful antioxidant known to reduce melanin production and enhance skin radiance—compared to 6.82% found in Iranian saffron.

How to use it:
- After cleansing your face, apply a few drops of the Face Oil.
- Spread it evenly all over your face and neck.
- Massage gently till it gets absorbed.
Packaging: The serum is beautifully packaged, exuding luxury from the start. It comes in a lavender-colored cardboard box that sets the tone for an elegant product inside. The serum itself is housed in a sleek purple (somehow it is appearing brown in the picture) glass bottle, complete with a well-functioning dropper. I was so impressed with the packaging that I couldn’t bring myself to throw away the box. Most of the product details are prominently printed on the packaging.
My opinion about the product: As per brand this luxurious Kashmiri Saffron Face Oil is a luxurious blend of nature’s finest ingredients, crafted to enhance your skin’s radiance and vitality. With its high-potency Mongra Grade Saffron and soothing jasmine, it not only brightens and evens out the complexion but also nourishes and calms the skin. The exceptional Crocin content underscores its effectiveness in reducing pigmentation and boosting glow, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a luminous, healthy complexion.
The product has an oil-like appearance and consistency. I have dry, sensitive skin and was searching for something effective for my dull and pigmented complexion. I used this product consistently for 30 days as part of my PM skincare routine. Before applying it, I would cleanse my face using the face wash from the same range. I’ll definitely share a review of that as well!
Always patch-test the serum on a small area of your skin before applying any face oil or serum all over to ensure there are no adverse reactions. Personally, I didn’t experience any breakouts while using this oil. It absorbed quickly into my dry skin, leaving it feeling hydrated. However, despite consistent use for 30 days, I didn’t notice any significant improvement in my skin texture. There was no reduction in pigmentation or any noticeable glow. As a result, I decided to discontinue using it after 30 days.
A 15 ml bottle lasts easily up to 2 months with regular use, as you only need a small amount each time. The serum is highly moisturizing and works particularly well for those with dry skin. However, if you’re hoping for quick, flawless results, it may not meet your expectations. In my personal experience, it’s great as a hydrating serum but doesn’t offer any additional benefits. Of course, opinions may vary. I’ve decided to stop using it and won’t repurchase it.
