Continuing my hunt of nude lipsticks, I got my hands on this one. Now, I have been eyeing a lot of YouTube videos and I saw that only nudes are not enough. You can even wear nudes with some twist. And I have a medium skin tone and nudes with a bit of coral or reddish or even brown undertones look great on me. Now, you see I am talking undertones. I have understood my complexion well and thus I can easily understand what lipstick will suit me.

So, at one of these videos, I saw this color and decided to try my hands on this one. And thus here follows the review of Sugar Suede Secret Matte Lip Color Taffeta Terracotta 06.

Packaging: Sugar Suede Secret Matte Lip Color Taffeta Terracotta 06 comes in a regular tube packaging. The upper part of the lipstick is black and matte which looks quite classy.

The bottom part is see through but with a tinted matte finish. Thus, you can see the shade but the finish of the bottom part is amazing. Again, the lipstick is quite conveniently small in size and thus you can easily carry it anywhere.

Use: Begin by scrubbing your lips and then apply a lip balm underneath. I apply a lip balm because I have severely dry lips. Begin by applying this lip color at the lower lip. Pat your upper lip with the lower lips and the color will automatically get transferred there. For an opaque finish, you can obviously reapply the lipstick.

My opinion about the product: Shade wise, Sugar Suede Secret Matte Lip Color Taffeta Terracotta 06 is a beautiful shade. The shade is coral with undertones of red and mocha in it. It has a strong resemblance to mocha. The shade is great for everyday wear. It can be worn with heavy eyes as well to balance the overall look.

Coming to the texture of this lipstick, it is extremely comfortable on lips. The lipstick is not drying and it stays for a really long amount of time. The lipstick goes away only with heavier meals but leaves a strong stain behind.

Also, pigmentation wise, it is bang on. You can get amazingly smooth pigmentation on one swipe only. You don’t need to keep re-applying it again. Since a little amount is only required per usage. Thus, a single lipstick will last you pretty long enough.
