Hello lovelies!
Today I’m going to talk about what has become perhaps the most elusive product line in all the beauty industry: Kylie Cosmetics. I thought I understood the hype surrounding her liquid lippies, but boy I was mistaken. After underestimating the sheer level of chaos that ensues when Kylie launches a new product, I was left sitting in a holding zone and then staring sadly at a “sold out” screen the first two times I tried to order.
So let’s start off with packaging. You probably don’t need me to tell you that Kylie’s packaging is always hella cute. Her birthday edition packaging is even more adorable than usual, as it’s dripping in gold. So basically I got the six shades.
DOLCE K
This colour is one of my favorites out of the bunch. Dolce K is your typical 90s brown colour. It applies real smooth and stays on pretty well too. I really wish this kit came with the lip-pencil as well though, I think it would help apply these lipsticks smoother and more even
EXPOSED
This colour is okay-ish. It has an orange undertone, which can be unflattering. In certain lighting this colour turns out to be gorgeous though. The formula is very dry. Usually I can handle dry formulas pretty well, but this immediately settles into the fine lines. It’s not super uncomfortable, but it’s not the best either
KRISTEN
Drum roll…..Kirsten is the absolute winner in this set. It applies super easy, doesn’t crease, feels comfortable and stays on all damn day. Literally though, this one just won’t come off.
LEO
Unfortunately, we’re ending with another one I hate. Leo is terrible to work with. It’s super streaky and doesn’t apply easily. It’s very hard to make to lines look crisp. Of course, my lips were battered after trying out 6 shades, so that didn’t help either, but this colour just doesn’t work well in general.
KOKO K
I really dislike this one. It just doesn’t dry well on my lips. I feel like Koko K would really benefit from being used with the lip pencil. It doesn’t stay on either. When I eat it rubs off and looks horrible. Koko K is definitely a pass for me.
CANDY K
Candy K is my favourite everyday colour. If you’re planning on only buying one lip kit, and you want it to be an easy-to-wear colour, I would definitely recommend this one. It feels comfortable (more so than Exposed) and doesn’t crease as much.

At the end of the day, these liquid lipsticks are beautiful and a real collector’s item. They’re perfect to take pictures off and they’re not that bad. Sure, they’re pretty to look at, but there’s so many other great liquid lipsticks available closer by and for a better price.
Are you getting or already owning any of the Kylie Cosmetics products? Let me know what you think about them!
Have a lovely day!
