Hello Reader!
For the first time, I’m sharing my review of a product from the Auli brand. I discovered this brand through Shark Tank, where Aishwarya Biswas, the founder of Auli, presented her skincare line that beautifully combines Ayurveda with modern science. Aishwarya participated in Shark Tank India and secured Rs 75 lakh in funding for a 15 percent equity share, thanks to investor Namita Thapar. I got two sample size products of this brand from Smytten. In this post, I will be reviewing Auli Let It Glow Deep Facial Massage Cream 🙂
About the product: This facial cream provides robust protection against irritants while maintaining the skin’s ability to breathe. It works to restore your skin’s natural oil balance and pH levels, alleviating allergies. Additionally, it enhances blood circulation, reducing the occurrence of pimples, rashes, allergies, signs of aging, and pigmentation. Notably non-drying, it effectively retains moisture and acts as a barrier against toxins, promoting overall skin health.
Benefits:
- Rubiaceae herb increases blood flow & stimulates growth of new skin cells
- Turmeric prevents acne & acne scars, is anti-pigmentation
- Walnut scrub exfoliates the skin, removes tan, dullness & pollutants
- Camphor is anti-irritation, anti-rash & anti-itching
- Sandalwood oil restores & improves the texture of your skin

Price: ₹149
Quantity: 15 ml
Shelf life: 24 months
How to use it: Apply onto your skin, massage it in evenly and wash it off in a circular motion post 20 minutes of application.
Packaging: This massage cream comes in a white colored squeeze tube. It has a similar colored screw cap. The tube is combination of white, green and black. The packaging is simple and travel friendly 🙂 There is nothing much to talk about it. The full size product comes in a jar, I find this tube more travel friendly.
My opinion about the product: This cream exhibits a subtle yellowish hue with finely ground walnut scrub particles. These particles, although minute, effectively exfoliate dead skin cells, eliminating dullness and tan. In my initial experience with a massage cream, I found that it effortlessly spreads across the face, providing a gentle yet noticeable scrubbing sensation. After massaging the cream onto my face and neck, I allow it to rest for 15-20 minutes. The hydrating properties of this cream leave the skin feeling remarkably smooth. Notably, it contains Rubiaceae herb, known to enhance blood flow and stimulate the growth of new skin cells.Â
The fragrance is heavenly, exactly like sandalwood. It’s evident that after cleansing my face with regular water, I experience a noticeable boost in skin nourishment and smoothness. Given my sensitive skin, I often contend with irritation, and the application of this cream proves incredibly soothing. With consistent use, I’ve observed a significant reduction in both acne and acne scars. This product is truly remarkable, and I’ve incorporated it into my skincare routine twice a week, witnessing positive results. Definitely a must have product 🙂

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is a face massage cream?
Answer: A face massage cream is a skincare product specifically formulated for use during facial massages. These creams are designed to provide several benefits when applied to the skin during a massage.
2. What are the features and characteristics of face massage creams?
Answer: Here are some common features and characteristics of face massage creams:
- Texture and Consistency: Face massage creams typically have a smooth and creamy texture. This consistency allows them to glide smoothly over the skin, facilitating the massage process.
- Hydration and Moisturization: Many face massage creams contain moisturizing ingredients to hydrate the skin. These may include humectants like hyaluronic acid or emollients such as natural oils to help maintain the skin’s moisture balance.
- Slippery Formula: The cream’s formulation often includes ingredients that create a slippery surface, enabling the hands or massage tools to move smoothly over the skin. This reduces friction and prevents pulling or tugging during the massage.
- Skin-Conditioning Agents: Face massage creams may include ingredients that condition the skin, leaving it feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. These could be vitamins, antioxidants, or plant extracts with skincare benefits.
- Aromatherapy Elements: Some face massage creams incorporate essential oils or fragrances for aromatherapeutic benefits. This can enhance the overall relaxation and sensory experience during the massage.
- Non-comedogenic Formulation: To prevent clogging pores and causing breakouts, many face massage creams are formulated to be non-comedogenic, meaning they won’t block pores.
- Anti-Aging Ingredients: Certain face massage creams may include anti-aging components such as peptides, retinoids, or antioxidants to address fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.
3. What are the benefits of face massage creams?
Answer: Here are the few benefits of using a face massage cream.
- Improved Blood Circulation: Face massage creams, when used during a facial massage, can enhance blood circulation. This increased blood flow helps deliver more oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells, promoting a healthy complexion.
- Relaxation and Stress Reduction: The act of massaging your face with a cream can be a soothing and relaxing experience. It helps relieve tension in facial muscles, reducing stress and promoting a sense of calmness.
- Enhanced Absorption of Ingredients: Massage creams often contain beneficial ingredients like vitamins, antioxidants, and moisturizers. Massaging the cream into your skin helps these ingredients penetrate more effectively, providing nourishment and hydration.
- Toning and Firming: Regular use of face massage creams can contribute to the toning and firming of facial muscles. This may help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a more youthful look.
- Detoxification: Facial massage can aid in lymphatic drainage, assisting the body in eliminating toxins and reducing puffiness. This can result in a clearer complexion and reduced under-eye circles.
- Stimulation of Collagen Production: Some massage creams contain ingredients that stimulate collagen production. Collagen is essential for maintaining skin elasticity, and its production tends to decrease with age.
- Exfoliation: Some massage creams have gentle exfoliating properties, helping to remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover. This can leave your skin looking brighter and more radiant.
- Prevention of Breakouts: Regular facial massages with appropriate creams can help regulate oil production, preventing clogged pores and reducing the likelihood of acne breakouts.
4. How often to do face massage?
The frequency of face massage depends on various factors, including your skin type, age, and specific skincare goals. Here are some general guidelines:
- Daily or Every Other Day: If you have time and enjoy the benefits of face massage, you can perform a brief massage daily or every other day. This can help maintain good blood circulation, reduce tension, and contribute to a healthy complexion.
- 2-3 Times a Week: For those with normal or combination skin, massaging your face 2-3 times a week can be sufficient. This frequency allows your skin to benefit from increased blood flow and relaxation without overstimulating it.
- Once a Week: If you have sensitive or reactive skin, or if you’re using potent skincare products, consider doing a face massage once a week. This reduces the risk of irritation and gives your skin time to recover.
- Adjust Based on Skin Concerns: If you’re targeting specific skincare concerns, such as anti-aging or acne, you might adjust the frequency accordingly. For instance, you might use a face massage cream with anti-aging properties more often if that’s your primary goal.
- Before Bedtime: Performing a face massage before bedtime can be particularly beneficial. It helps relax facial muscles, reduces stress, and allows your skin to absorb the nourishing ingredients from the massage cream overnight.
