MamaEarth has recently launched the range of body wash (available in different variants). I received 2 variants as PR sample. The first one is Vitamin C body wash & second one is Ubtan body wash. I am using both of them currently as Ubtan Body Wash With Turmeric & Saffron works as an amazing exfoliant whereas Vitamin C wash is super body wash. Both are tagged at same price of 299 Rs. In this post I will be reviewing both of them.

How to use it:
Step 1 : Pour a coin-sized amount of the body wash on your hand or loofah.
Step 2 : Gently rub it on your wet body.
Packaging: For the first time, I liked the packaging of Mamaearth products . They usually have a simple packaging but this time I am impressed. The body wash comes in a plastic bottle with the flip top cap. The bottle of Vitamin C body wash is transparent & one can see the product on the other hand Ubtan body wash has an opaque bottle. The bottles are sturdy and travel friendly. This time I am happy with the packaging. Each & every detail is mentioned on the bottle.
My opinion about the product: Ubtan body wash is light yellow in color with brownish particles whereas the Vitamin C body wash is dark yellowish. To be honest, I was surprised that Ubtan body wash is light yellowish (appears more whitish) in color (as it has Turmeric & Saffron) whereas Vitamin C body wash is Yellowish in color. Ubtan body wash has a strong fragrance which will definitely bother sensitive nose. On the other hand Vitamin C body wash has a mild fragrance. Ubtan body wash has a runny consistency whereas the Vitamin C body wash has a thick consistency compared to the Ubtan wash.
Both the body wash lather well (Ubtan lathers more compared to the Vitamin C) and cleanses body efficiently. The good thing about the Ubtan wash is that it has exfoliant particles & effectively removes dirt, impurities & dead cells from the body. This is the reason that I am using both of the body wash at the same time. Two days in a week, I am using Ubtan body wash & rest of the days Vitamin C body wash. This combo is really good to use, don’t apply it on your face (Logically we should not) as it does dry out your skin. Overall verdict it is not something to be a mandatory try but can give it a shot considering the summer season and for the pleasant fragrance.

This is my first time using a body wash. First experience is not that great compared to soap’s. It doesn’t remove much of a dirt on skin. Yes it’s smooth and it smells good for a short time. Apart from that if you sweat a lot forget removing dirt using this body wash.
