Hi Girls,
When I saw Essence Color Boost Mad About Matte Lipstick packaging, I was like how can a lipstick can come in such packaging. It is more like a lip balm or say lip gloss packaging. This curiosity made me purchase this lipstick in shade dangerously yours.

Packaging: As I said initially I was skeptical about the packaging of this lipstick. But post use I realized that by choosing the flexible tube instead of a rigid tube, brand has made it possible to use up the lipstick almost completely, as product residue can simply be pushed upwards. With normal tubes, a not insignificant residue always sticks to the inner wall, which you can hardly get to with the applicator. And honestly this scraping out and rumbling in the end is pretty annoying.
Lipstick has an hourglass-shaped flock applicator, which I get along with amazingly well, because the hollow in the middle of the applicator adapts perfectly to the lip and you can almost lift the lip in one go color in completely. Very impressed with the packaging.
My opinion about the product: So total 10 shades are available in this range of lipsticks. Half of it consists of various nude tones, the other half of bright or dark, intense colors. I think the color selection is pretty good, although of course there are some tones that are absolutely out of the question for me personally. Overall there is something for everyone here.
Dangerously yours is a pink shade with hint of lilac & peach. Which makes it amazing option for daily wear purpose. The lipstick is opaque in the first turn, dry very quickly and then get the desired completely matte finish. I find the consistency when applying to be a little waxy, definitely different from other Liquid Lipsticks I have used. This feeling is completely gone after drying.
The mad about mattes definitely emphasize the lip wrinkles and you can also feel them on the lips. Still, I don’t find it as uncomfortably dry as you might know it from other products. I think the shelf life is very good, but they didn’t survive a meal without damage to me. They weren’t completely gone afterwards, or even smeared, which is pretty much the worst thing that could happen, but were relatively evenly carried away from the center of the lip. However, I did not test whether you could re-tighten it afterwards, i.e. put on a second layer. The advantage of this liquids is, however, that you can get them down with a normal make-up remover and do not have to use oil-based AMU remover directly.
