Last year I received two scrubs as PR sample from brand “St.Ives”. One is Oatmeal variant & the other one is Apricot variant. I have reviewed them on Instagram but now reviewing here on blog for people who still love reading blogs (Yes! People are more interested in Insta or Youtube reviews these days). I don’t have picture of Oatmeal one so spilling my beans about the Apricot scrub 🙂
About the product: St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub. Made with 100 percent natural ingredients, including walnut shell powder, corn kernel meal, and apricot extract, this scrub deeply cleans and exfoliates to freshen and soften your skin while revealing its natural radiance. How to use it: Dispense scrub onto fingertips and massage onto damp skin. Spread in small circular motions to wake your skin’s natural circulation. When you’re done, rinse and glow! For best results, use up to 3-4 times a week.
Wooden Packaging
Packaging: I received these scrubs in a very beautiful wooden box. Not sure that everyone receives this scrub in wooden box or not (As it can be for influencer only). The actual product comes in a white colored tube with flip top cap. The quality of the tube is really good & there is no chances of spillage or leakage.
My opinion about the product: This product is labeled as Allure The Beauty Expert 2016 Reader’s Choice Award Winner. Now this increase your expectations. This scrub has a creamy texture with minute exfoliants. The scrub particles are strong enough to exfoliate your skin which is definitely good but at the same time you have to be careful. They can be harsh on your skin, if you have a sensitive skin.
I am using it twice in a week, post application skin feels soft & smooth. You can also dilute the paste with slight amount of water to spread it all throughout your face. Also, you need only a pea sized amount for your entire face and thus a single product will last you pretty long enough. The scrub is perfect to remove the dirt, oil, whiteheads and blackheads from your face. It also works on pigmentation and removes your tan marks as well. The scrub also improves the overall skin texture and removes any black spots on your face. But will not give you instant result, you have to use it regularly.
What I liked about the product:

Impressive ingredient list.
Works on tan.

Pea sized amount required.
What I do not liked about the product:
Need to be patient in delivering results.

Last words – This scrub is quite good in delivering results. This improves your skin texture but you need to be really patient this product takes time in showing their results.
